IMPULSE debuted in 1996 with the 3 track EP Je M'Aventure on the label Dodge Records and released their 1st album One-Six-Four-One-Seven in 1997 as the first national signing of Berlin label Studio! K7.
The basis of their tracks is electro funk, which is expanded by many facets, oscillating between jazz, ambient, trip-hop, breakbeat and electronica.
